Las Brisas Pacificas is located near the western edge of the City of San Marcos, also near South Carlsbad’s eastern border and Vista’s southern border (see a MAP of the area).
Its distance from the coast is approximately 7 miles, far enough away to escape much of the coastal fog and morning overcast, but close enough for the gentle ocean breezes to affect its air temperature all year long. Its moderate temperatures, low afternoon relative humidity and low yearly rainfall combine to provide  a near-perfect year around Climate.
Living in the Las Brisas Pacificas community of San Marcos also means that you're never far from moderately priced restaurants, quality shopping, movies, live theater, theme parks and other recreational sites. Minutes away, you will find many stores containing life’s necessities and a wide choice of fine, moderately priced restaurants (more than 85 restaurants within 4 miles). Minutes away, you will also find the huge Edwards San Marco Stadium 18  movie theater, the newer Creekside Market Place and Grand Plaza shopping centers, a wide choice of places to worship and both the Palomar Community College and Cal State University @ San Marcos institutions of higher learning. A recently expanded Kaiser Permanente Outpatient Medical Center is located approximately 3 miles away and both the Palomar Health and the Tri-City Medical centers are each located less than 10 miles away.

Carlsbad's McClellan-Palomar Airport that provides AirTaxi and Charter Services to most of the world is less than 3 miles away. Highway 78 (approximately 3 miles) provides easy access to North San Diego County's other cities, to its 19 public beaches, to San Diego (approximately 38 miles away), and to the rest of California. The homes in Las Brisas Pacificas are all single-story, 2 or 3-bedroom, 2-bath, detached homes of approximately 1200 to 1650 sq. ft. in size. They have open floor plans and vaulted ceilings, one or more patios and some have wood burning fire places. Most homes have attached two-car garages but some have an attached car port with a tandem one-car garage. A few homes only have an attached car port. Some homes have panoramic views of valleys and canyons and some even have ocean views.

This is a relatively small community so there are usually only a small number of homes offered for sale at any given point in time.
