Pilgrim Creek Estates is located near the northwest border of Oceanside, adjacent to the Camp Pendleton Marine Base (See a MAP  of the area). It gets its name from nearby Pilgrim Creek, a tributary of the San Luis Rey River. Its location, approximately 6.5-miles inland from the coast, is at a distance that is far enough inland to escape much of the coastal fog and morning overcast, but close enough to the coast to provide an almost perfect year-round climate. Its serene environment, cool ocean breezes and views of rolling hills give it an ambience of being near the coast but still far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Pilgrim Creek Estates' close proximity (approximately 3.5 miles) to Highway 76 also provides easy access to North San Diego County’s other cities and to the I-5 (coastal) corridor that leads South to San Diego (approximately 44 miles away) and North to Orange County and the rest of Coastal Southern California.
Minutes away, you will also find many stores containing life’s necessities, a wide choice of fine, moderately priced restaurants, movies, live performance theaters, major shopping malls and the Tri-City Medical Center (7.5 miles away). Most homes have attached two-car garages and some have panoramic views of the rolling hills and valleys.
