Overview
∙
These 3 Active Retirement Communities contain 1896 cozy, single-story duplex homes
with single-car,
attached garages.
∙
The homes range in size from approximately 825 to 1450 square feet and
have 2 or 3 bedrooms. The smaller homes have one bathroom and the larger
homes have 2 bathrooms. Some also have a large enclosed patio.
∙
They are all located just a few miles inland from the Pacific coast. The
nearly constant ocean temperature and coastal breezes provide them with a very comfortable
year-round climate with
summer highs in the mid to high 70's (°F), winter lows in the low 40's (°F) and sunshine approximately 70% of the time possible.
∙
Their prices are in the Mid to High $300K range. These prices include the
cost of the lot that the house sits on. They typically have only a few homes for sale at any given time.
∙ Their Home
Owners Fees are very low ($0 - $10/month).
∙
Most of these homes have small, low maintenance front and back yards. Some however have fairly large back yards that are perfect for
growing small gardens
or fruit trees and some are on view lots.
∙
Most have an outside patio.
∙ They all have single-car garages that are accessible from the house.
∙
They have no community club houses- But, a plethora of activities for
retirees are available at the nearby
Oceanside Country Club Senior Center (less than
7 miles away)
and the modern
El Corazon Senior
Center
that "Targets Baby Boomers" (less than 3.5 miles away).
∙
The homeowners are each responsible for the upkeep of their house and lot in accordance with
CC&R agreements. Elected members of each community's Home Owners Association enforce CC&R
compliance to ensure that their community's neighborhoods are properly maintained. The result is that most of the neighborhoods in these communities
are kept in a well-maintained state.
∙
Although these communities were built between 1971 and 1984, many of their homes have been modernized
and upgraded and some are absolutely gorgeous inside and out.
